The Swensens - Are you going to Heaven?

The fact is, we are all sinners and therefore upon physical death, we deserve to go to Hell for all eternity.

"There is no one righteous, not even one." Romans 3:10

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

Note that eternal life in Christ is a GIFT of God. There is nothing we can do in our own power to get us through the doors of Heaven.

"For it is by grace (undeserved favor) you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

So, how can we go to Heaven?

"God made Him (Christ) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him (Christ) we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21

You see, Jesus Christ, who had no sin, died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for all of our sins. He died FOR us. Only through Him can we have eternal life. By trusting in Jesus Christ as the one who died for your sins, you will receive everlasting life. Even though you may die physically, your soul will live forever in Heaven.

Jesus Christ said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

God is offering you the greatest gift in the world and it can only be received through Jesus Christ. Will you accept it? The moment you trust Jesus as your Savior and believe with all your heart that He died for you, your sins will be forgiven! No matter how severe you think your sins are, God will forgive them if you only ask. Give your life to Christ, and see what peace and fullness of life you can have in Him.

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" Romans 5:1

Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

Are you ready to make this decision? Remember, you are never guaranteed one more heartbeat. We encourage you to make this choice now, before it is too late.

All you need to do is believe and accept Jesus as your Savior. The following is a suggested prayer you can use.

"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, please forgive me. I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and I ask you now to come into my life. Be my Lord and my Savior. Fill me with your Holy Spirit that I might live a life that brings honor and glory to you. Thank you, Lord, for saving me. Amen."
