Eric Brown's First Report
This Eric Brown with the Patagonia Mountain Agency calling you from
Shigatse, Tibet. Don't ask me to spell that. It is currently 9 o'clock
in the evening, April 10th. We're a day ahead of everybody. Today's
weather was partly cloudy, high about 65.
We drove to Shigatse today,
from Yangtze, which we were at last night. We're about half way to base
camp and we have three days of sight seeing and driving closer to base
camp as part of the acclimatization. Everybody is doing well other than
some headaches and some diarrhea. Well, not full-blown diarrhea, but
close. And we're having a good time. Everybody is getting along.
The other dispatches will have additional information, in term of
different people. We're planning to have little interviews with all the
different clients, the climbers. So this is mainly just a test Real
Audio so my friend James can make sure everything works and goes well.
So, hopefully I don't sound too distorted. Look forward to hearing from
me again or Talli Leach.
Thank you. Over and out.
