MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR
Greetings! We are nearing the end of this funding cycle and are looking
at options regarding the publication of Kaumanik. In accordance with our
mission of tribal capacity building, our aim was to provide an
accessible resource, while still containing useful information. We are
soliciting your input to help evaluate the usefulness of this
publication. If you enjoy this newsletter, please let us know. Your
feedback is very important and will help determine the direction
Kaumanik, as well as the Alaska Regional Office, will take. Would you be
willing to help support the publication? Copies of the articles are also
available on the web, updated on quarterly basis. If there are areas you
feel should be covered, please contact us. We also welcome submissions.
On a different note, we are interested in learning about habitat
enhancement activities that you may practice. What issues are affecting
your area and where do your concerns lie? We look forward to hearing
from you.
