The mineral Hot Springs in the center of town is open to the public with posted hours for women and men. Walk through the old growth forest out to the Indian River, cross the suspension bridge and peek around the corner. You might see brown bears chasing salmon in the river! Sail by brilliant blue icebergs. Take a picture for your Holiday card. Anchor in front of a glacier and go fishing for a halibut. Explore Pybus Bay, one of Admiralty Islands most beautiful wilderness anchorages. Keep an eye on the beach; you are apt to see some brown bears chasing salmon in the river. While visiting the Keku Islands, well take time to set the crab pot and have a beach fire and picnic. Kayak into a cave! A DAY ON THE INSIDE PASSAGE WITH WOMEN SAIL ALASKA Alaskas famous Inside Passage is a beautiful wilderness where mountains meet the sea. We sail along secluded passageways with towering rainforests, traveling for approximately six hours a day. Our flexible schedule gives us plenty of time to watch wildlife, enjoy the scenery and sail as much as possible. Each afternoon or evening, there is time to go ashore to explore the beaches or paddle around in the anchorage. Try out our sturdy inflatable two-person kayak.
