Home to the mighty Mt. McKinley (20,320 ft.), known to Alaskans as "Denali," this park spans six million acres of wilderness. Grizzly bears, caribou, foxes, wolves, moose and many other creatures live in the shadow of "the mountain." On tours into the park, and at the official visitors center, you'll learn about the area's history, geology, and diverse wildlife.

On comfortable cruises, you'll explore these majestic fjords alive with calving tidewater glaciers and abundant marine wildlife. Look for humpback whales and orcas. Hear the barking sea lions and thousands of exotic seabirds. Watch seals lounging on icebergs, sea otters floating on their backs, mountain goats climbing the cliffs and eagles soaring overhead.

Voyage through this glacier-carved seascape, featuring more tidewater glaciers than any other place in North America - including the massive Columbia Glacier, rising 300 feet skyward from the sea. You'll linger at a safe distance in front of Columbia's face, see many other glaciers, fjords, and wildlife, plus get a marine tour of the Alyeska Pipeline Marine Terminal.

Extra adventures in this area include flightseeing (by helicopter) over Columbia Glacier, tour of Alyeska Marine Pipeline Terminal and whitewater rafting through Keystone Canyon.
