NMHA'S POSITION ON PARITY

as of January 1999

NMHA strongly favors parity for ALL people with mental disorders including:

• Adults with severe mental illnesses;
• People with other serious mental disorders like post traumatic stress syndrome; and
• Children with serious mental and emotional disturbances.
