All the floatplane flying. The pilot and floatplane will stay with you
and your party at all times. If this is not possible a guide will be
present with your party.
A
rubber raft will be at each of the base camps. Some camps have aluminum
lake boats.
All
meals are provided. Lanigan’s Retreat prepares these meals for
simplicity in field preparation and for your pleasure.
All
basic fishing gear is provided. As an avid fisherman I recommend that you
bring your own fishing gear. This allows you the best possible trip, as
you know your own rod and equipment best. Use our equipment to
adapt your own gear to the specific situation or as a back up.
All
camp gear is provided - tents, chairs, sleeping pads, camp stove, cooking and eating
utensils - all the amenities for a quality camp! We will stay in tents and
cook outside on
camp stoves. Attention to detail has been given
to provide the maximum comfort for this style of trip.
And
of course - all of our combined Alaskan experience!

Allow yourself one whole
day in Fairbanks to rest up and acclimate. Take the time
to get all
those last minute items before you fly out. Remember, Mother Nature is in
charge of good flying weather and delays do happen. Again, allow one or
more days in Fairbanks after your trip. This will also give you some time
to see all the sights in Fairbanks. We can recommend a variety of
activities.
Here's
what to bring.
