There is so much to do in and around Fairbanks that we couldn't possibly list them all here. Local attractions change with the seasons. In the summer there is gold panning and gold mine tours, hiking in some of the most beautiful country you'll ever see, visits to the pipeline, the local stores, shops, sidewalk booths, the Riverboat Discovery tour.

Depending on the time of year there are celebrations such as the Tanana Valley State Fair and Golden Daze that are always memorable. In the winter there are sled dog rides and visits with mushers who may participate in the Yukon Quest or the Iditarod

There are always opportunities for flight seeing trips over the mountains or the glaciers, or hot air balloon rides over Fairbanks and the Goldstream Valley in the Summer.
