Your float trip will begin in Dillingham, Alaska, just 350 southwest of Anchorage, Alaska. Your guide will greet you at the Dillingham airport and transport you to the float plane charter service.

From there you and your guides will be flown to the heart of the majestic Wood-Tikchik State Park. Make sure that your cameras are loaded with film, as this is one of the most scenic flights in Alaska.

You and your guide will be dropped off at one of many rivers, depending on your fishing desires. Rivers include the Nuyakuk River, Nushagak River, Mulchatna River, or the Koktuli River

After being dropped off, the rafts will be inflated, and after a quick lunch, you will be floating the river. For 5-7 days you will be fishing, floating and photographing in one of the most breathtakingly remote wilderness areas of the world. The rivers of the Bristol Bay region are well known for their large wild rainbows and their awesome salmon runs.

Camps are set up along the way to maximize the best fishing along the river and don't forget about Alaska's long summer days. Clients as well as guides have been known to fish well past midnight if the fishing is hot.

In addition to the great fishing, keep your eye out for moose, caribou, brown bear and eagles. On the final day of the float trip, you and your guide will meet the float plane at a designated point and you will be departed back to Dillingham, Alaska.
