Our house will be located apporximately three miles off of the Glenn Hwy down what is locally referred to as "the old dump road". (charming)
The road to our house is a bumpy dirt road in fall and summer; smooth and snowy for the most part in winter; and sloshy, sloppy mud in spring.
You travel through Spruce trees, Aspen trees, the old dump site (where Mt Drum and the Wrangell mountains can be viewed), oodles of wildflowers in the summer, and oodles of mud puddles in the spring.
On a clear day, Mt Drum is visible at one point on the road to our house.
The lupines along our road come out in early June and bloom profusely through July.
