It all begins when you depart Kenai/Soldotna for a 45 minute flight across Cook Inlet, along the Chigmit Mountains, past the majestic volcanoes Mt. Redoubt(10,197 ft) and Illiamna(10,000 ft.), and into Chinitna Bay where you land on a sandy beach- the Alaskan version of an airstrip.
Your host will be waiting for you to load your gear into a skiff for the short run up Clearwater Creek to our camp.Once you are settled into your lodging (sturdy Hansen Weatherport set on platforms), let the adventure begin!
