In the Lower 48, Spring is marked by all the flowers popping out
of the ground. Well, here at the River, we mark it by the return of birds!
And no, I am not the only one that tracks them.... well, okay, seagulls are my
specialty, but I have a neighbor who tracks sandhill cranes, robins, and
swallows. And no, she doesn't want to give out her email address so you
can comment on her interests!
Knowing that the Flight of the Seagull is also a
fascination to so many of you, I've decided to share my data:

Want to guess the date the Seagulls will arrive in 2013? Entrees
must be received by April 1, 2013. Guess date and hour of day please -
closest to my sighting will win.
