The Minisingers & Mastersingers

Minisingers

Choir members new to our program who are age 5-6 usually enter the Minisingers, where they study music theory, sight singing, ear-training, and the basics of good vocal production. This group performs at the annual Spring and Holiday concerts, and at events that require the full choir membership.  Minisingers rehearse together for one and a half hours each week, plus an extra one and a half hours on a Saturday every month.

Once the child has gained musical ability and experience, he/she is promoted to the next level, the Mastersingers.

Mastersingers

Choir members new to our program who are ages 6-8 (or Minisingers progressing to the next level) enter the Mastersingers, where they study music theory, sight singing, ear-training, and the basics of good vocal production. This group performs at the annual Spring and Holiday concerts, as well as events that require the attendance of the entire choir membership.  Mastersingers rehearse together for one and a half hours each week, plus an extra one and a half hours on a Saturday every month.

Once the child has gained musical ability and experience, he/she is promoted to the next level, the Chambersingers.
