Alaska Rider Tours Alaska All-Road Tour 2003 Come explore Alaska on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle! We have put together
two great 6 and 7-day itineraries for those who want to see Alaska and
ride the paved highways. These tours are 4 and 5 full days of riding;
we will pass by Mt. McKinley (North America's tallest peak), cross the
Alaska Range twice, visit Harley-Davidson's most northern post is Fairbanks,
soak in the natural hot springs at Chena, and enjoy the spectacular views
on the Glenn Highway (one of two National Forest Scenic Byways in Alaska).

the midnight sun, surrounded by North America's tallest peaks and vast
pristine landscapes. For those of you who wish to load your bikes on a
ferry and spend the day cruising by Sea Lions, Orcas, Bald Eagles and
tide-water glaciers spilling out into the sea, consider our Prince William
Sound extended tour. You will love these rides!
Day one: Pick up at airport in the afternoon in Anchorage, Alaska. Transfer
to lodging. Welcome dinner this evening. Total miles: 961 miles
Day five: Ride from Paxson to Valdez, Alaska. This day, we ride past the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, home to 9 of the 16 tallest peaks in North America. The views of these huge volcanoes from the highway are absolutely stunning. We then climb and wind through Thompson Pass, arguably the prettiest 45 minutes on a motorcycle anywhere Jagged peaks on all sides, wild rivers, and glaciers spilling out to the highway simply a treat! We then descend down to Valdez, passing through scenic Keystone Canyon. This is a steep walled, narrow canyon with towering waterfalls cascading on all sides. Stay in Valdez. Total miles: 194. Day six: Board the ferry the M/V Bartlett, part of the Alaska Marine Highway system, and cross Prince William Sound. The trip lasts 6 and a half hours, and showcases the pristine coastline and marine wildlife of the Chugach National Forrest. We will have a chance of seeing a variety of porpoises, Orcas, sea birds, marine mammals, and one of the largest tidal glaciers in the world; Columbia Glacier. We will arrive in the small fishing town of Whittier, and from there continue our journey to Anchorage. Stay in Anchorage. Farewell dinner in Anchorage. Total miles: 64 to 142, depending on what you want to explore on the Kenai Peninsula before heading to Anchorage. Day seven: Transfer to Anchorage airport. Our support vehicle will be at your service this day, so we will gladly take you around town if you wish to see it. Total miles : up to 1,030 miles.
