Building a Timber Frame Home

A wise man once said "Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it*." This has been a guiding principle through out this building project. We are the Trimble Family. We live in Eagle River a small town outside of Anchorage Alaska where we are building our new home. This is a chronicle of our progress.

This is how things looked on April 7, 1998 after excavating the foundation.

Here is how the completed frame looked from across the valley.
And this is how our house looked on December 23, 1998.
