Meals, snacks, soft drinks, coffee and tea are provided. Alcohol is not provided, although there is a liquor store at most harbors. Smoking is not permitted inside the boat, and nonmarking soles on your shoes is appreciated. The Top Dog has a comfortable flying bridge and a back deck for sightseeing. A raft is available for shore trips or exploring. Kayaks are available with prior arrangement.
A maximum of four passengers are allowed on two day trips, as overnights with lodging is not possible. If done as two one day trips out of Juneau, six passengers are possible. See the rate page for costs. Discounts early and late season, for kids and early bookings.
It is possible to meet the boat in a different location for the trip, to better connect with the rest of your trip, or to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities. However, leaving and returning through Juneau is a very nice trip too. We will stay within about thirty miles of Juneau, spending the night in a secluded wilderness harbor, or returning to Juneau for the night. Whale watching will be exceptional. Bears, eagles, and marine mammals abound. Seafood is a great bonus. If you like shrimp, crab, salmon or halibut, this is the adventure for you.
