Come and enjoy an evening on Question Lake. Talkeetna & Beyond bed and breakfast is located just 7 miles from Talkeetna, Alaska and 100 miles north of Anchorage.

Our two guest rooms each have a private bathroom and adjoin a sitting room which has a private guest entrance. Our decor is casual, comfortable, and clean! You will have the experience of sharing our home but with a little added privacy of separate guest quarters. In the morning, come on upstairs for a full, hearty breakfast and some casual conversation with your hosts Sandy, Mac, and Gus. One of our guest rooms is wheel chair friendly let us know if you need this special consideration.

We welcome families and can provide children with toys for all ages! There is plenty of outside play area and our little guy Gus is always willing to make new friends. Remember that we are on the lake so safety near the water is number one!

While you are here, take the canoe out on Question Lake where there is almost no motorboat traffic and paddle around looking for our resident pair of common loons. They are not too hard to find and you can watch from a distance as they dive and feed. Record your observations in the "Loon Book" to help us with the State Fish & Game's loon observation program.

We have two dogs and two cats who are not allowed in the guest quarters but are happy to take any attention from our guests that is offered! Question Lake is suitable for swimming, and you can take a long walk or use our mountain bikes for some outdoor fun close by.

Because we operate a small bed & breakfast we are able to give our guests special consideration, Check in time is between 4 and 7 PM but if you are going to be early or late just call us and let us know. Check out time is flexible and can be as late as 1 PM. Breakfast will be served on the basis of guest consensus any time between 7:30 and 10 AM . If you have to leave early, a continental style breakfast will be provided for you in the guest sitting room.
