Kato is the first shiba to enter our house.
He is the consummate family pet. Kato is the reason
we fell in love with shibas. He is a cream color.
This color is currently not acceptable in the
conformation show ring, but that does not make Kato
any less a shiba than any other color.
Kato is shown here to the left on a camping trip
with us. He normally stays within earshot, but we
have had our share of cruising up and down the
river looking for him. Once we found him about half
a mile away.
