"The Great One"
This is Denali, or Mt. McKinlay
for those from
the lower 48. I didn't take this
photo, but it
shows sunrise on Denali from with
in the
National Park.
This photo I took on my way back
from Fairbanks.
It was a bit windy on the mountain
that's why it
looks blury on top - it's snow
blowing. I was
many miles from the mountain, would
guess
over 50. It shows just how huge
it is.
Taken from the same spot with the
zoom. I took
these in May 2001 with my Sony
digital camera.
