Winter 2001 --
The day of the big swish has come and gone. For the "outsiders", that’s December 21 (the dark Winter Solstice)
when Jack is sure the salmon turn around and head back toward Alaska. The days are now getting longer
by a few seconds per day and spring is coming our way (we hope) in only three months or so. We spent the Fall on the road in the fifth-wheel,
then stored it in Seattle and drove north for the holidays and a dose of winter weather. We plan to go back out
in late January and point ourselves south for sunny Mexico. The plan is to be back home in April to meet those returning
salmon.
Check out the family reunion information and the beginning of the genealogy section. Carolyn is still working on the unending geneology project and hopes to have more ready to share
when the family gathers this summer. We've also added a few new family photos so take a peek in there as well.
