Travel Notebooks: Resources For Meaningful Travel
Our travel notebooks are finally on display in the back hallway of the cafe. In them you will find information about volunteer opportunities world-wide, international workcamps, Spanish language schools, conferences and workshops, educational trips, travel adventures, peace walks, caravans, delegations, and more. The information for the notebooks was carefully chosen to reflect our view that educational and service oriented travel can help to broaden our understanding of other cultures, of poverty, of war, etc. Check out the travel bulletin board for a quick overview of some of the organizations. There is a rotating feature of a particular organization or type of travel on one board--this Spring we focus on International Workcamps. Most Workcamps take place in the summer or fall, but you must register by April or May.
