Jesus is the Promised Savior (Messiah) of the Old Testament:

He gave His life as a ransom for us:

He rose again, and ascended into Heaven:
1 Cor. 15: 3-8 Acts 1: 1-3, 9-11 Rom. 8: 34
He is "our" Savior:
John 3:16, 1:29 Rom 5: 8-10 John 1:12 Those who receive Him, and believe in Him.
Jesus is Lord:

and obey Him.

and believe the gospel (good news).

SALVATION
Only through Jesus:
John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12 No other way to Heaven.
John 3:14-18
Individuals must "receive" Him, and "confess" Him as Lord.
John 1:11-12 Rom. 10: 8-10, Matt. 10:32-33
Those who believe in Jesus are "Born Again":
John 3:3-8 Believe: Trust, cling to, rely on. (Amplified Bible)
2 Cor. 5:17 A brand new person.
2 Cor. 5:21 Believers are made righteous.
Repentance is part of believing:
Mark 1:15, Acts 3:19, Acts 26:20
Believers have Eternal Life:
John 3:14-16, 36 John 6:40 John 11:25, 26
Salvation includes help for today.
John 16:24 Matt. 21:21-22 Hebrews 4:14-16
Because of our relationship with Jesus, we can have confidence when we come to
God in prayer.
The Greek word that was translated in our Bibles as 'salvation' is the word 'soteria.'
It means to be saved, healed, preserved, to do well, be in health, be whole and be
delivered. This salvation is for our whole person: body, and soul, as well as spirit.
(1 Thes. 5:23)
