Current Project

1968 Camaro Convertible

Bodywork has involved complete strip down of paint to bare metal.  Replacement quarter skins were
found with excessive body filler.  Damaged outer fender wells, rusted door skins, trunk lid, and tail
panel were found damaged, rusted, and hidden under a mass of body filler up to 1 1/2 inches thick.
All metal has been sandblasted, and POR-15, to prevent rust from returning, before
reassembly begins
A new cowl induction hood, door skins, inner and outer fender wells, trunk extensions, trunk floor
drop-offs, trunk lid, quarter skins, and tail panel are being  installed using Goodmark industries
reproduction sheet metal.
Upon disassembling, the car was found to have been painted at least 5 times in its lifetime...Last paint job
appeared to be an amateur spray can black color change.  Previous to it was a Maroon Poly complete
color change.  Original color is Lemans Blue Poly and was the decided color for the restoration...
Interior and top were both white, with the interior being dyed from its original Medium Blue color..
We have decided on the final colors

Exterior: Medium Blue Poly
 Interior: Black
      Top: Black
