February 2003
Welcome to our website! We hope you found this newsletter through our website at http://www.akpub.com/nuliaq/ If not, you will want to visit it. Soak up the wild beauty of Alaska that we offer visitors -- the rugged and pristine scenery, solitude and silence, wildlife photography, gourmet dining, kayaking, fishing, hiking and more -- and read what others have to say about our trips.
Our Schedule
Our 2003 calendarat the bottom of this page will help you plan your Alaskan vacation. Find out what dates may be available when making your plans. Feel free to email us at nuliaq@alaska.net or call us at (907) 458-8283 if you have any questions. This small website is a work in progress and we are still learning the mechanics of posting information to it, so please bear with us.People Make the Trips
First and foremost, we want to thank all our friends, old and new, for choosing Nuliaq Alaska Charters for their summer vacation on Prince William Sound. Ours is a fantastic way to enjoy the Sound. People sometimes ask if we get tired of doing what we do. Our answer is, "Never!" People are what make the trip. It gives us so much pleasure to share the beauty of Prince William Sound -- the wonder, adventure and mystery of discovering our corner of the world is renewed again and again when we see it through your eyes. Your observations continually surprise us and that is what makes touring with you fun for us!The Nuliaq
The Nuliaq has met or exceeded our expectations for reliability, convenience, maneuverability and comfort. The big galley is a dream to work in. With three staterooms and two sitting areas, there is room for everyone to relax inside even on inclement days. And, on sunny days there is plenty of room outside to fish, read, or soak up that warm Alaskan sun. If you are feeling more adventurous, you can take the dinghy or one of the inflatable kayaks to explore those quiet bays, islets and intriguing sealife. The Crew
Once again it was great having our friend, co-captain, capable crewman, experienced guide and naturalist John Twardowski spend the summer (his fifth) with us. The clients love it when he regales them with stories of his Alaskan adventures. John, like the us, is eagerly looking forward to another great season of exploring the Sound and making new friends aboard the Nuliaq in 2003.For complete biographies on all of us, check out our website at: http://www.akpub.com/nuliaq/nuliaq4.html
Pictures from Around the Sound
We are trying to develop a photo album. Here are a few pictures we have taken of people and places around the Sound. As soon as we figure out how to link the thumbnails to larger photos, we will include them.
.
Green numbered days are already booked.
We still have a few prime silver salmon fishing days available in August!
And, there are some great bear-viewing days open in early July.
