Uncle Pret worked with the local parish to arrange the details of our marriage.  Following tradition, we signed the parish log, adding our names to a record stretching back over a hundred years.  We were glad  to be part of it.

Mike signs the parish register.

While our guests traveled the short distance to our reception at the Bear Mountain Inn, we loitered at the church to have some portraits made.    Rehberg and Mears families.

Rub the bear's nose for good luck!

We made our way back to the Bear Mountain Inn, and of course rubbed the bear's nose for good luck.  We're not sure when this tradition started in the 90-year history of the Inn, but that nose sure is shiny and smooth.
We climbed the grand staircase leading into the classic stone-and-timber lodge to meet our friends and family gathered inside and start our celebration.  After snatching a passing Hors d'ouvre, we asked our guests to join us on the stairs...  Mike and Donna climb the stairs to the reception.
