We woke Saturday morning to beautiful, blue clear skies and temperatures in the mid-50's, but it was just too windy for a mountaintop ceremony.  We chose to move the ceremony to a small chapel above Hessian Lake.  (Mike Rehberg photo)

Unfortunately, about half of our guests did not get the message!  Mike's uncle, Al Wohlgemuth, drove up the mountain on a search-and-rescue mission, and retrieved about 20 carloads of well-dressed, if windblown, guests.  (Ed Blum photo)

As the guests gathered in the chapel, friends Will and Monica Vail played Haste to the Wedding on guitar and violin.  They accompanied our ceremony with  beautiful music, including Flowers of Edinburgh and Blackberry Blossom.  The music set the scene for the wedding ceremony to begin...
