House District 31 - Senate District P -
East Fairbanks
House District 31 is bounded by a line beginning at the eastern boundary
of District 30 at the Tanana River, proceeding north along the House District
30 boundary to the intersection of Isabella Creek and the City of Fairbanks
boundary, east along the city boundary to the Steese Highway, south to Lazelle
Road, east to the Fort Wainwright Military Reservation boundary, south and
west along the military reservation boundary to the Richardson Highway.

and west along the railroad to Bonnifield Trail, south to the Tanana River,
west to the point of beginning. The house district has a population of 13,395
and a variance of -2.6 percent. The house district will elect one house
member and, with House District 32, one senator. |
House District 32 - Senate District P -
Badger - Wainwright
House District 32 is bounded by a line beginning at the eastern boundary
of District 31 at the Tanana River, proceeding north along the House District
31 boundary to the intersection of the Steese Highway and the City of Fairbanks
boundary, northeast along the Steese Highway to Steele Creek Road, northeast
to Bennett Road, southeast to Chena Hot Springs Road, east to the Trans-Alaska
Pipeline, southeast along the pipeline to Nordale Road, south to Peede Road,
west to Holmes Road, west and then south to Bradway Road, west to Lakloey
Drive, south to the Old Richardson Highway, southwest to Richardson Highway,
northwest to the Fort Wainwright Military Reservation boundary, south to
the Tanana River, west along the Tanana River to the point of beginning.
The house district has a population of 13,793 and a variance of +0.3 percent.
The house district will elect one house member and, with House District

House District 33 - Senate District Q -
Northeast Fairbanks
House District 33 is bounded by a line beginning at the intersection
of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and the northern boundary of the Fairbanks
North Star Borough, proceeding easterly along the borough boundary to the
southerly intersection with the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, northwesterly along
the House District 34 boundary to the House District 32 boundary at the
intersection of Peede Road and Nordale Road, northerly along the House District
32 boundary to the House District 31 boundary at the intersection of the
Steese Expressway and the City of Fairbanks boundary, west along the city
boundary to Isabella Creek and the House District 30 boundary, west along
the House District 30 boundary to the House District 29 boundary at Farmers
Loop Road, northerly along the House District 29 boundary to the intersection
of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and the northern boundary of the Fairbanks
North Star Borough, the point of beginning. The house district has a population
of 13,138 and a variance of -4.5 percent. The house district will elect
one house member and, with House District 34, one senator. |
House District 34 - Senate District Q -
North Pole - Denali
House District 34 includes all of the Denali Borough and the following
area bounded by a line beginning at the intersection of the Kantishna River
and the northern boundary of the Denali Borough, proceeding northeasterly
following the Kantishna River to the Tanana River, east and south following
the Tanana River to the West Middle River, then southerly to Middle River,
then southerly to the Nenana River, then northeasterly to Seventeen Mile
Slough, then southeasterly to the southern boundary of the City of Nenana,
then easterly and northerly along the City of Nenana boundary to the Tanana
River, easterly following the Tanana River and the District 32 boundary
to the southeast corner of District 32 at the Richardson Highway, northeasterly
to the Old Richardson Highway and the intersection of the extension of Lakloey
Drive, north to Bradway Road, east to just past Toolick Street, north to
Holmes Road, east to Peede Road, east to Nordale Road, south to Chena Slough,
southeast along the slough to Brock Road, south to Repp Road, east to Hollowell
Road, south to Plack Road, west to the Chena Slough, south to the City of
North Pole boundary, south along the city boundary to the Richardson Highway,
southeast to Dawson Road, south to Laurence Road, west to Armistice Street,
south to the Alaska Railroad, east along the railroad to its intersection
with Moose Creek and the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, east along the Trans-Alaska
Pipeline to the Eielson Air Force Base boundary, north along the Eielson
boundary and then south to the southern boundary of the Yukon Command Training
Site, east along the training site boundary to Ninetyeight Creek, southeast
to the Salcha River, southwest along the Salcha River to McCoy Creek, southeast
following the creek to Gold Run Creek, south following the creek to the
Trans-Alaska Pipeline, southeast along the pipeline to the Fairbanks North
Star Borough boundary, west along the Fairbanks North Star Borough boundary
to the northeast corner of the Denali Borough boundary, south, west and
north along the Denali Borough boundary to the point of beginning. The house
district has a population of 12,806 and a variance of -6.9 percent. The
house district will elect one house member and, with House District 33,
one senator. |
House District 35 - Senate District R -
Delta - Prince William Sound
House District 35 is bounded by a line beginning at the southernmost
point of intersection of the Fairbanks North Star Borough boundary and the
eastern boundary of the Denali Borough, proceeding south along the Denali
Borough boundary to its intersection with the Matanuska-Susitna Borough
boundary, southerly to the intersection of the Municipality of Anchorage,
south along the municipality boundary to its intersection with the Kenai
Peninsula Borough boundary, south along the Kenai Peninsula Borough boundary
and into the Gulf of Alaska, easterly offshore to the southernmost point
of the intersection of the eastern boundary of the Chugach Alaska Corporation
and the United States-Canada international boundary, north and west along
the Chugach Alaska Corporation boundary to the Copper River, northeasterly
along the river to Fox Creek, northwesterly to Liberty Creek, northerly
along the creek to Copper River, then northwesterly along the river to just
east of the Richardson Highway at milepost 91.1, west to the Richardson
Highway, northerly along the highway to milepost 98.3, west to the Trans-Alaska
Pipeline, north to Yetna Creek, east to the Richardson Highway at milepost
104.1, northeasterly along the highway to milepost 108, northeasterly to
the Tazlina River, southeasterly along the river to the Copper River, northerly
along the Copper River to just east of milepost 123.2 on the Richardson
Highway, west to the Richardson Highway, north along the highway to Gakona
Junction, east to the Copper River, northeasterly along the river to milepost
9 of Tok-Cutoff Road, northeast along Tok-Cutoff Road to milepost 30.9,
then north and west to the trail just west of the Chistochina River, north
along the trail to the Gakona Glacier, northeasterly to the Johnson Glacier
and the Johnson River, north to the Tanana River, northeasterly along the
Tanana River to the Healy River, northwest to the Fairbanks North Star Borough
boundary near the headwaters of Shaw Creek, west along the Fairbanks North
Star Borough boundary to the Denali Borough boundary, the point of beginning.
The house district has a population of 12,808 and a variance of -6.9 percent.

Rural Interior
House District 36 is bounded by a line beginning at the northernmost
point of intersection of the United States-Canada international boundary
and the Chugach Alaska Corporation boundary, proceeding west and north along
the House District 35 boundary to its intersection with the Fairbanks North
Star Borough boundary, along the Fairbanks North Star Borough boundary counterclockwise
to its intersection with the House District 34 boundary at the Tanana River,
westerly along the House District 34 boundary to the Denali Borough boundary,
southwesterly along the Denali Borough boundary to the Matanuska-Susitna
Borough boundary, southerly along the Matanuska-Susitna Borough boundary
to Cook Inlet, southwesterly along Cook Inlet to the House District 7 boundary,
westerly along the House District 7 boundary to the Lake and Peninsula Borough
boundary, westerly along the Lake and Peninsula Borough boundary to the
southern boundary of the Calista Corporation, west along the corporation
boundary extended to a line that passes midway between Akiak and Tuluksak,
northwest along that line to a point just south of Ohogamiut, then westerly
to the Izaviknek River, then following a line northeasterly between Pilot
Station and St. Mary_s and continuing northeasterly to the Calista Native
Corporation boundary, at approximately T28N, R63W, SM, then northerly along
the Calista Native Corporation boundary to the Bering Straits Native Corporation
boundary, north along the Bering Straits Native Corporation boundary to
the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary, north along the Northwest Arctic
Borough Boundary to the North Slope Borough boundary, east along the North
Slope Borough boundary to the United States-Canada international boundary,
south along the United States-Canada international boundary to the point
of beginning. The house district has a population of 12,776 and a variance
of -7.1 percent. The house district will elect one house member and, with
House District 35, one senator. |
House District 37 - Senate District S - Northwest Alaska
House District 37 includes all uplands and islands in the area bounded by
a line beginning at the southernmost point of the intersection of the United
States-Canada international boundary and the North Slope Borough boundary,
proceeding west along the North Slope Borough boundary to the Northwest
Arctic Borough boundary, south and west along the Northwest Arctic Borough
boundary to the Continental Divide, westerly along the Continental Divide
to Kougarok Mountain, southwest to the western extent of Brevig Lagoon,
southwesterly offshore to include King Island, northerly to include Little
Diomede Island, north and east around the north coast of Alaska to the United
States-Canada international boundary, south along the United States-Canada
international boundary to the point of beginning. The house district has
a population of 12,889 and a variance of -6.3 percent. The house district
will elect one house member and, with House District 38, one senator. |
House District 38 - Senate District S -
Nome - Lower Yukon
House District 38 includes all uplands and islands in the area bounded
by a line beginning at the easternmost point of intersection of the boundaries
of the Northwest Arctic Borough and the Bering Straits Native Corporation,
proceeding west along the House District 37 boundary to the western extent
of Brevig Lagoon, southwesterly offshore to include St. Lawrence Island
and St. Matthew Island, easterly to include Nunivak Island, northeasterly
up the Kolavinarak River and through Baird Inlet to Aropuk Lake, northeasterly
along the Izaviknek River to intersect the House District 36 boundary south
of Ohogamiut, northerly along the House District 36 boundary to the point
of beginning. The house district has a population of 13,565 and a variance
of -1.4 percent. The house district will elect one house member and, with
House District 37, one senator. |
House District 39 - Senate District T -
Bethel - Dillingham
House District 39 includes all uplands and islands in the area bounded
by a line beginning at the intersection of the Calista Corporation and the
northwest corner of the Lake and Peninsula Borough, south along the Lake
and Peninsula Borough boundary to the Bristol Bay Borough, proceeding southwesterly
along the Bristol Bay Borough boundary and into Bristol Bay, offshore westerly
and northerly to the House District 38 boundary at a point south of Nunivak
Island, northeasterly along the House District 38 boundary to its intersection
with the House District 36 boundary south of Ohogamiut, easterly along the
House District 36 boundary to the point of beginning. The house district
has a population of 14,507 and a variance of +5.5 percent. The house district
will elect one house member and, with House District 40, one senator. |
House District 40 - Senate District T -
Aleutians
House District 40 includes the Lake and Peninsula Borough, the Bristol
Bay Borough, the Aleutians East Borough, the Pribilof Islands, and all of
the islands of the Aleutian Chain. The house district has a population of
15,020 and a variance of +9.2 percent. The house district will elect one
house member and, with House District 39, one senator. |
