Alaskan Hospitality Lodge - Bed and Breakfast and world class salmon fishing on the Kenai River - Bear Watching

Alaskan Hospitality Lodge is a world-class 3,000+ foot facility on the North bank of the Kenai River, roughly twenty one miles from Cook Inlet that offers saltwater fishing at it's best. The fish you catch are fresh, directly from the Inlet and provide a challenge to the heartiest of anglers. We can provide fully licensed guides if you desire. These folks know the river and are very successful in helping you catch trophy fish. When fishing on the Kenai River, guides can pick you up directly from our dock. Those who want to indulge in saltwater fishing, the commute is but 30 minutes away by car. Guides provide all fishing tackle. You can bring your own gear if you want to fish from the bank. We recommend you bring hip waders, quality rain gear and layered warm clothing. During our summer, Alaskan temperatures can reach 75 degrees but when it rains, one can feel quite uncomfortable unless properly dressed. We can provide freezer space for your catch until you leave the lodge. There is a barbeque available should you have the urge to "cook up" your catch. We have the ability to accommodate singles, couples and moderate size groups. We can also accommodate small business conferences even during the off season. We highly recommend you consider making reservations well in advance as we have a tendency to fill up rather early for the summer months. Reservations are first come, first served. A little known fact is the fishing season actually begins May 1st each year. May is an excellent time to fish for Halibut and Kings. The reds start coming in around mid-June and run through the 15th of August. Silver Salmon, the ones who fight like oversized trout, start up river around the middle of August and run to the later part of September. See the fishing calendar below.
