Thank you for agreeing to speak as our guest speaker at the Kenai River Rotary Club.
We meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at various locations in the Soldotna area. First we have a social time and share food. The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. and we try to end by 8 p.m.
Members and guests stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and have a brief "Sharing Time," followed by announcements, club business, etc.
Members of our club come from the ranks of local business and medical professionals, educators, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and other community leaders. Rotarians from other clubs on the Kenai Peninsula and from parts of Alaska sometimes visit our meetings.
Speakers follow the club business starting about 7:30 p.m. and lasting until 7:55 p.m. It is recommended to leave time at the end for questions. If you need extra time, please let us know and we may be able to adjust schedules accordingly and provide a bit more than the 25 minutes.
If your organization is looking for support from the Club, please keep that separate from the presentation which should be informative in nature. Support requests should be initiated in writing to the Board of Directors by either handing off at the meeting submitting to a Board member.
Handouts are welcome and we can help circulate them to the club.
Speakers are introduced by a member of the club, so if there is any information that you would like included in the introduction, please let us know. We would like to know a little about your background and the program you will be presenting, so we can make your introduction a good one.
