Alaska's Only!
Murphy Jon DelGado

Okay, first off, no I am not bivouacked on an icy precipice, dangling on K2; this is how my parents dress me.  Second, I think they believe we live in the Karakorams and not Juneau, Alaska!  Mom, Dad, it's not 40 below zero, I can handle a little chill.  See those red spots on my butt; that's a heat rash! Please lay off the Patagonia! But, in their defense, besides from the multi-layer wardrobe, they are doing a great job with me! It has been relatively  busy since my last check in. I now weigh 9 pounds 9 ounces, a full seven ounces up from last week! I feel good (except for the heat rash and this reoccurring bout of acne) but the doctor promised it would go away, and she was right! My dad gave me my first bath and I must admit, I LIKED IT! That warm water surrounding my body reminded me of something very familiar, but I just can't quite place it.  After I was finished, my brother Hogan came in and my dad gave him a bath too!

The bottom color picture is me about two days ago, right after my first bath.  There is also a picture of Hogan after his latest bath. We have had quite a few visitors lately and they keep bringing all this neat stuff! My folks are trying to get thank you cards out as soon as possible, and if they have missed you, I'm sure it will be coming soon. Oh, and there is one last thing: My Mom says I use too big of words in my little compellation, so if you don't know what a precipice is or what's a Karakoram, don't feel bad, neither did she. But if you would like to know, just click below and discovery the wide world of Merriam-Webster's dictionary.

Love,

Murphy
