Dan France, born and raised in Soldotna, a top notch guide for the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers...I highly reccomend him.
National Weather Service Forecast Office, Anchorage, Alaska
Lots of weather info including marine weather and satellite imaging.
This page is loaded with information about the current volume and flow of water through main rivers in Alaska. Have you ever gone to fish the Kenai River to only find the rivers high and muddy? This page will provide information about how much water is in each of the areas flowing waters. The page also has recreational forecasts for canoers and fisherman as well. A must sight for the serious fisherman.

The sport fishing division posts some excellent information on fishing reports, emergency orders, and even bathymetric maps of the areas stocked lakes. You could spend all your life just fishing the lakes they list in the Mat-su and Anchorage areas. If you went to the fish and game home page, youd know which lakes are already stocked anfd which lakes are in the process of being stocked. A great page!
Applehaus B&B: Naknek, Alaska
A Bed & Breakfast in Naknek, Alaska. Naknek is home to one of the world's largest runs of red (sockeye) salmon in the world! Combine that with the other 4 species of salmon and some awesome rainbow fishing and it's a place I just gotta go see. I haven't been to the B&B yet but I know the owner! The owner, Dorothy Besch was my 6th grade teacher and though she still has the good ol' Texan spirit & hospitality, thirty years of living in Alaska makes her a living Encyclopedia of Alaska and how to have fun. I am DEFINITELY going to get out there someday. I rarely endorse a place I have never been to but Dorothy was (and still is!) one of my MOST favorite teachers and I can credit a lot of my success to the work ethics I learned from her while still in the 6th grade. I can personally guarantee that she will treat you right and make every effort possible to show you a great time. Don't believe me? Check out the web page and talk to her yourself. I'm convinced you'll agree... even after the first few minutes!!!!!
