About Us .....
Lee and I, strangers from separate states, moved to Anchorage in '82. A year later we
met while working for a commercial diving outfit. We weren't married until after I left
the company as neither believed in mixing business and pleasure. While I
pursued my career in accounting and computer consulting, Lee's focus changed from
the commercial diving industry to natural gas. We found a little cabin on Nancy Lake in
'91. Our family grew and we spent many happy weekends playing at the lake. Finally,
we packed up the boys and made the move a permanent one.
Lee still
drives into Anchorage to work while I spend my days eating bon-bons and watching TV
-- not! We are absolutely stuck in the Parent Trap: practices, games,
homework, portable meals, conferences, committees, the PTA, and multiple volunteer
activities. Since our youngest is 6 and one-half, we have 12 years (that's 4,380 days, 52,560 hours, or 3,153,600 minutes)
on this particular treadmill. You better believe I'm countin' and I'm not
the only one. If you find yourself in the Parent Trap too, here's.............

First and foremost, I am not a teacher. I like to think that I'm pretty good
at helping out in the classroom. One thing is certain, I'm a very cheap teacher's assistant! ;-)
This section is to share information that I have gathered on-line and within the classroom.
Hopefully, you will find lesson plan resources and time saving tips to help you with your
students. Feel free to e-mail links or information
you would like to share with others.
