Quality Safety Training


3-Day Confined Space Safety
This course is designed to meet the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 requirements for entrants, attendants & entry supervisors. Covers hazard recognition, evaluation, control methods, permits, retrieval devices, hands-on use of test instruments. $395.00

40-Hour HAZWOPER Class for Waste Site Workers
This is the Federal EPA course taught to OSHA compliance officers, EPA personnel, and civilian site workers (ESHA is authorized to present this course as an external EPA training provider). This meets all OSHA requirements and all students have an opportunity to wear all levels of protection, use clean-up equipment during simulated waste clean-up activities, atmospheric test instruments, etc. 10:1 student/teacher ratio insures all students get the instruction they need during hands-on portions of the course (which is about 60% of the class) to feel comfortable with the gear. $650.00

40-Hour HAZWOPER Class for First Responders
This is the Federal EPA course taught to fire-fighters, ambulance personnel, and civilian personnel who may be first on the scene of a hazardous materials spill. Exceeds OSHA regulatory requirements for spill response training, but is recommended for facilities with relatively novice spill responders or particularly dangerous chemicals to deal with. ESHA is authorized to present this EPA course as an EPA external training provider. $650.00

24-Hour Technician Level First Responder course
Similar in scope to the EPA course, this meets the minimum OSHA requirements for first response personnel. Recommended for personnel with extensive experience using SCBAs and turn-out gear or other PPE, and will respond to less dangerous chemicals at their facilities. $450.00

1-day Refresher Course for Hazardous Site Workers, First Responders,and Supervisors at Spills or Waste Sites
Meets 29 CFR 1910.120 requirements for annual refresher training for workers and supervisors. $125.00

1-day Basic Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Seminar
A basic how-to class for non-technical personnel who may need to either conduct air monitoring of worker exposure, or understand the reports from those who do. IH sampling techniques and terminology is presented, along with simple IH calculations and report writing/ interpretation. Some hands-on use of sampling instruments. $150.00
