Here's a shot taken by my friend Jimmy Harvey. Brandon and I are out in a side channel and it's still pretty early in the day. The sun's not up too high yet but already
I have a feeling that it's going to be one heck of a beautiful day to float the
Kenai. Even though the Kenai's water is glacial in origin I have caught many a nice bow in it's
green, opaque waters on dry flies in this channel. Try it in early June before the "egg hatch" takes a hold. A #16 elk hair caddis seems to be pretty effective before too many reds start to stack up.
