From Zan:
- Lizzie raised Maxine.
- Lizzie Dawson and husband Joe Conway also adopted a boy (Forrest Madron) who was son of a Greene Co. Sheriff. Forrest married Neva Bible and they had 2 children.
- Raymond Bible was an engineer who built many of the small bridges in TN and KY
From MaryC:
Charles Dawson was also a Sheriff. Mom is pretty sure that Charlie was the sheriff when “Grandpa Jim”, as she called him, went home to TN for a visit and pulled a prank pretending to be a drunk and getting “thrown off the train”. When the sheriff got there, he played it for a while and then “sobered up” and said “you wouldn’t send your brother to jail, would you?” Grandpa Jim never drank and was a part-time Baptist minister.
Drury had two sons who were sheriffs in Cocke Co. (Charlie and Joe). (Mary's) Mom believes that Charlie was the sheriff when “grandpa Jim” pulled his drunk train passenger joke because Joseph (Sheriff Joe) would have been dead by the time grandpa Jim made the trip back to visit.
