This piece was also on display at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. The center bead is done locally by one of our very special
beadmakers, Michelle Waldron of Kiara's Gifts. It has trocha shell and Austrian crystal in the petal tips. The gold pearls are 22kt. gold plate metal beads. The strawberries, frog, and snail are glass beads I purchased from one of the local bead stores. The Loop Stitch is used in abundance throughout this piece to create petals of the flower and then in the foliage to get the leafy effect.
