Anchorage is Alaska's
largest city with a population of 258,782 as of December, 1998. There
are 93 schools in Anchorage and 49,173 students.

city is crisscrossed by a hiking and biking trail system over 120 miles
long so the adventures are unlimited for explorers. |

addition to outdoor activities, Anchorage offers rich and diverse arts
and cultural opportunities. The museums will introduce you to the history
of the city and state as well as the Native culture. For

a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center is a must do. |
