Northern Keta is a salmon caviar company located in Juneau, Alaska. We pride ourselves in processing high quality salmon caviar made from roe extracted from wild Pacific salmon that inhabit the pure, clear, cold waters of Southeast Alaska.

The salmon are caught by local fishermen, cleaned as soon as they come aboard and the roe is chilled immediately. Delivery is made to our processing plant as soon as possible. Attention and careful handling is the first step to ensure the freshness and quality of our product.

At the proccessing facility, our team of highly qualified roe technicians process the fresh roe into SALMON CAVIAR, also called IKURA in Japan or KETA KAVIAR in Europe. We ship our product fresh or frozen to customers in Asia, Europe, Canada and the United States.

SALMON CAVIAR is larger in comparison to that of sturgeon. The color varies from bright red to light orange. Russians first enjoyed it in the 1830's, its popularity has since spread all over the world.

Our SALMON CAVIAR is sold fresh in bulk or jars. Our product is packaged in 33 LB (15kg) pails, 1 kg plastic containers or 4 oz jars. Whichever way you buy it, store unopened in the coldest spot of the refrigerator or preferably in ice. ideal temperature is 27° F to 32°F. Use opened containers within 2 to 4 days.
