Byrd Lane Pottery is a family affair.  
Born out of Janet Elson's lifelong love of throwing clay, and her daughter Marianne Elson-Griffith's talent
with a paintbrush, Byrd Lane Pottery has developed into a creative outlet for it's founders,
and an obsession for collectors throughout Alaska and the United States.

Ozarks Americana has been carrying the handthrown and handpainted pottery since 1994.  
Jan and Marianne are both inspired by the seasons and create shapes, patterns, and designs to reflect
the colors and textures of their environments.
