US Youth Soccer (USYSA) is the youth division of the United States Soccer Federation, the National Governing Body (NGB) for soccer in the United States. USYSA is a non-profit and educational organization made up of 55 member State Associations including Alaska (ASYSA); one in each state, and two in California, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas. It is the mission of the USYSA "to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth and development of Americas youth through the sport of soccer at all levels of age and competition."
USYSA currently registers over 2.5 million youth players under the age of 20; has over 250,000 dedicated coaches, most of whom are volunteers; and represents a nationwide body of over 500,000 tireless volunteers and administrators.
