Visitors to the Hart D Ranch, located along the northern boundary of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, are treated to an elegant setting that is a wonderful base for exploring, fishing, hiking and bicycling in the park. Take a short hike to view operational fish wheels in the nearby Copper River during June and July.

Visit the owner's studio of bronze scupltures for viewing and sale. Your host also raises a special breed of dog - the Affenpinscher, or "German monkey-terrier," with AKC pups for pet and show.

Snow machiners longing for limitless wilderness away from the crowds pay reduced winter rates. Electric plug-ins are available for a small additional fee.
