Frosted Nut Chocolate Drops

Melt: 4 squares of Unsweetened Chocolate over hot water or in the microwave on low. Cool.
Cream together: 1 Cup Shortening (or ½ C. Butter & ½ C. Shortening) with 2 Cups Granulated Sugar.
Beat: 4 Eggs then Add: Cooled chocolate to the egg mixture & beat.
Sift together: 3 ½ C. Sifted Flour, 1 tsp. Salt and 1 tsp. Baking Soda
Alternately add ½ C. Milk to sifted dry ingredients and creamed mixture. Stir in 3 C. chopped Walnuts. Drop batter on ungreased baking sheet about 1 to 1 ½ “ apart. Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. Frost with chocolate frosting while warm.
Frosting
Sift: 3 Cups Powdered Sugar with 3/4 C. Cocoa Powder. Add 6 Tbsp. softened Butter, 1 tsp. Vanilla and approximately 1/3 C. Milk or enough for spreading texture. Beat until smooth.
