Aerocomp offers 4, 6, and 10-place aircraft in both conventional (tail dragger) and tricycle gear configurations. You can even build for both configurations and switch back and forth as your requirements change.
The Comp Air 6 (pictured above), with the 220 hp Franklin, has a top speed of 153 mph, cruise of 134 mph, and a stall speed of 39 kts. With a 1360 lb useful load and a huge interior, this airplane can carry practically anything you need to haul: the whole family and baggage, or the hunting party and all the camping gear. With the new tapered wing option, the CA-6 tops out at 185, cruises at 165 mph, and still stalls at 53 mph! And for those who want a little something extra, the all NEW WideBody option will give you more interior cube than a Cessna 206!! This model also has an available high gross option of 3600 lbs.
The 4-place Comp Monster uses from 110 - 180 hp ( with HP option) powerplants allowing you to tailor the aircraft configuration to your mission requirements. With the 180 hp Lycoming, the AC-4 has a useful load of 1460 lbs, cruises at 130 mph (top 149 mph), yet retains the low 39 kt stall! Take-off on wheels is as low as 300 ft! Equipped with the optional SF2850 amphibious floats, the Comp Monster becomes a real "go anywhere, do anything" machine for Alaskan flying at it's best.
The Aerocomp Trainer , suitable for light cruising and use as a trainer in member owned aero clubs ( please ask for details on starting your own club), makes use of the 145 hp Franklin in standard configuration but can be equipped with Continental or Lycoming powerplants near the same power.
