Kenai Peninsula Tour
Dates:
May 18th to May 24th, 7 days (5 days riding)
The Kenai Peninsula showcases many of the best qualities of Alaska, while
being the most accessible area in the state. Located just south of our
base near Anchorage, the Peninsula is a land of abundant wildlife, sea
life, impressive glaciers, lakes, wild rivers, and spectacular coastline.
Not only can you enjoy and unforgettable ride through the winding mountain
highways, but also experience one of many out-door activities possible
along the way. We designed this trip so that you may choose any one of
a menu of optional “side trips” along the route. These activities
range from: King Salmon Fishing, Halibut Fishing, Bear Viewing*, Flight
Seeing, River Rafting (Scenic or white water), Horseback riding, Glacier
Cruise, Sea Kayaking….. the list goes on and on! We have priced
this trip to include any one of these options in your package. We will
arrange anything you want! And, since the entire route is paved, we also
offer a rental upgrade option for any one who prefers a Harley Davidson
motorcycle!
The Kenai Peninsula Tour is a seven day/six
night tour starting and ending in Girdwood (40 miles south of Anchorage).
All nights of the tour will be spent in a comfortable B&B’s
(or equivalent). This is our shortest tour, which gives us time to enjoy
other activities. We will also have a chance to touch a glacier, ride
the beautiful Seward Highway ( a National Scenic Byway) and visit quaint
seaside Alaskan fishing towns. During the six days of the tour we cover
580 miles of paved highway.
