The Alaska Regional Office is planning a geographic information system (GIS) technical training workshop.

We have it tentatively scheduled for December this upcoming winter. The workshop will provide an overview of the possibilities with GIS, and provide a solid introduction into the subject. We have also recently acquired a copy of ArcView 3.0. Anyone interested in getting some hands on experience with the program is welcome to drop by our office. We are located on the first floor of 707 'A' Street, across from the Federal Building in downtown Anchorage.
