British Isles Tour 2001
Day Five: Sunday, July 1, 2001
10:00 a.m. Anchorage time: Another e-mail from Roy Ireland arrived this morning! He wanted me to be sure to let everyone know that he is still looking for a place to upload pictures to the website and download e-mail messages for the kids. For now, he is taking notes on what he reads over the web and bringing the news back to the kids.
Roy reports that the kids have sung very well and they are behaving very nicely. This morning, they participated in a service at Holy Trinity, Knightsbridge, and they gave a brief recital at the church after the service.
The kids are having lots of fun. Roy said that some of the kids (mostly girls) went shopping today, and lots of money changed hands. The boys were interested in other activities.
This evening will be a busy one for the choir, as they have their big performance in Carmina Burana (which they are performing as I type this), after which they will depart for Bournemouth.
