I am interested in anything regarding Absolem Fox (abt. 1780/1790-abt. 
1850/1860) b. in N.C. d. Cocke Co., Tn.
and Elizabeth Reed Fox (abt. 1806-abt. 1850/1860) or any of their children, 
Keziah (1827), Lorenzo D. [Dow?](1829), Martin (1832), Margaret (1835), 
Maranda (1837), Priscilla (1841), John Wheeler (1843), Jonas (1846).

Some people list an Absalom (1852) Fox as the youngest son of Absolem and 
Elizabeth. I have a copy of Absalom's death certificate and it lists his 
father as "James H. Turner" and his mother as "Sarah Fox." Also, I have a 
copy of a court case (Sarah J. Turner & Chancery Court Cast # CH01-533 / 
535 - 3/5/1881) that was appealed to the Tennessee Supreme Court and in this 
document "Absalom (1852) Turner" makes it clear that his father was James 
Howell or Howard Turner (1828-1865) and Sarah Jane Fox (1826-abt. 1866). He 
states that he lived his entire life with his "grandparents - John 
[1805-1870] and Mary A. [1799-1876] Turner.

Also, "we" have confirmed by DNA testing that Absalom (1852) "Fox" Turner is 
REALLY A TURNER and not a fox. It was done by testing a male descendent of 
Absalom (1852) and a male descendent of John (1805) Turner.

I am suggesting that Absolem and Elizabeth Fox had an older daughter, Sarah 
Jane Fox [1826-abt.1866] and seeking help in determining that fact. She 
married my great uncle, James Howell or Howard Turner [1828-1865] before 
1850 census (they are living right next to Absolem & Elizabeth and their 
family).

I believe that my great, grandfather, John E. (1838-1865) Turner also 
married one of Absolem and Elizabeth's daughters (a younger sister to Sarah 
Jane), Priscilla Fox (1841-abt. 1871 / 1875) who I believe married Rufus 
Clay Crumly or Crumley (1847-1917) circa 1868. Rufus has a wife, Priscilla, 
in the 1870 census and my grandfather and his brother - John Edward Turner 
(1863-1931) and Robert (1840-????) are living with them in 1870.

Can any one shed any light on if Priscilla Fox (1841) married John E. Turner 
(1838)?
